Eyewitness says he saw armed civilian discharging firearm in Kenosha

Police in Kenosha said two people have died and one was injured after shots were fired during the third night of unrest over Jacob Blake's shooting.

Speaking on camera, an eyewitness said he saw a man "who was not a police officer" discharging his firearm during the third night of unrest in Kenosha.

An armed civilians is also heard saying: "Somebody approached somebody with a gun and shots were fired.

Unfortunately, we have got two people who were shot, possibly a third." An investigation has been opened.

According to The New York Times, Kenosha police is investigating whether he shooting resulted from a conflict between armed civilians who were protecting businesses and protesters.

The footage was filmed on August 26.
