Adapting their college experience.

One usi student testing positive for covid-19 just one week before the fall semester --- didn't impact the start of class.?coming here just being able to continue having school and the fact that we get to have some in person classes that also a plus to me since a lot of the stuff i do as a radio television student is in the field work??i just moved up here so i don know anyone anyways so class is really going to be my main social interaction outside of family?

But with students in other universities across the state getting suspended for throwing non socially distanced parties, the usi students i spoke with are hoping theye classmates take these warnings seriously.?i won be going to any of those i from bloomington normally so like the day i was leaving there was like eight parties up and down washington street by iu feel like wel do a better job party school from what ie noticed.

So hopefully yeah, wel keep it under control?

As far as the first day goes students are taking the new safety precautions - which include wearing masks in buildings and classrooms -- in stride.?i think theye really important.

People can get hurt and like i don want anyone getting sick so i ok with them helping?

Students and faculty must fill out a self- reporting form if they test positive for covid-19 and must wait until they are cleared by a doctor before they can return to campus.
