College stadiums only allowed 25% capacity, Mississippi governor says

Mississippi's governor issued an executive order Wednesday addressing stadium capacity at college stadiums, as well as tailgating and more.

College football and the coronavirus.

The governor just announced restrictions for the upcoming season.

Governor reeves made that announcement about restrictions for college football during his coronavirus news briefing this afternoon... he signed the executive order today...which governs how stadiums will operate this fall..

It includes - limiting seating capacity and prohibiting tailgating... ."

This is the minimum that each school is required to do in their college stadiums this fall to keep our players and spectators safe, while allowing college football to occur.."

According to the executive order - stadium seating is limited to no more than 25 percent seating capacity.... everyone over the age of 6 must wear a mask as they enter and exit the stadium..all visitors are encouraged to wear a mask at their seats..

All tailgating and raillies outside the stadium are prohibited..

Individuals on the sideline are limited to those only essential for the game... all transactions much be contactless and touchless... like mobile ticketing and cashless concessions..
