This is the moment Las Vegas cops shoot an armed gunman dead when he took a woman hostage in a trailer park after a chase.The incident took place in the area of Nellis Boulevard and Gowan Road in northeast Las Vegas located in the US state of Nevada on 10th August.In the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) footage, a police officer is seen chasing the suspect on foot after he reportedly tried to set fire to trees and cars.The suspect appears to have a gun in his hand which he points towards the pursuing officer.The cop fires once but misses.The scene changes to a mobile home in a trailer park where the suspect reportedly took a woman hostage.SWAT officers are seen storming the property and shooting the armed man multiple times as the female hostage cowers in fear.LVMPD spokesperson Capt.
Nichole Splinter said the police were informed of a man “attempting to start trees and cars on fire” before an officer encountered him in the area of Nellis Boulevard and Gowan Road.
