9 school districts need to resubmit plans before Friday

For schools to re- submit their plans to the state.

This after 107 district reopening plans were deemed either incomplete or deficient including 9 districts here locally.

News channel 2's brent kearney now shows us some districts are disputing the states claims. some districts locally are taking to social media and their websites urging parents and students their plans were submitted correctly.

This comes ater the state flagged 107 school districts including 9 locally for having incomplete or deficient plans oriskany central school district.... "please know the documents for the new york state education department reopening plan and the department of health new york foward safety plan were submitted."

Camden central school district says the same and adds... "we have receipts that the plans were submitted."

Senior advisor to the governor rich azzopardi says some districts filed with the state education department but not the department of health.

And that's being rectified.

Utica city school district had that issue.... it followed up with the health department on monday.

Waterville central schools was also on the list.

Since june, the district has gone through three superintendents.

Interim superintendent kathy davis says the problem has been resolved.

None interim superintendent kathy davis: "when i came on board last week i was notfied that we need the department of health portal we got the link this morning and we submitted the plan to the department of health not once but twice today and they have confirmed that everything is good they have our plan and they're moving forward."

Central valley school district... "we were informed that we will be taken off the list" schools on the list have until friday to resubmit their plan correctly.
