Frontier School Corp reports student COVID-19 cases

According to a statement from the frontier school corporation, the student tested positive for the virus saturday.

Marlee, the student was tested for covid after a relative tested positive for the virus on friday.

In their statement, frontier school corporation says students from other classes or grade levels are not( impacted by this.

The classroom in which the student attends class started remote learning on monday.

It was also cleaned last friday and monday.

The school corporation is requiring the classroom to be empty for 72 hours before students are allowed to return.

Contact tracing is being required for the student and their family.

Impacted students will receive contact from the frontier elementary administration or by school nurse.

State contact tracers will also reaching out to parents whose son or daughter was determined to have contact with the identified student.
