Seat belts required in back seat

Andrew Cuomo signed a law Tuesday that requires all passengers to wear seat belts in the back seat.

Previously, those 16 and older were not required to wear seat belts if riding in the back of a car.

The governors traffic safety committee says 30 percent of highway deaths in the state are occuapnts who aren't wearing a seatbelt.
