A woman is dead and four others are in critical condition after a gas explosion caused three homes to collapse Monday morning in Northwest Baltimore.

ONE PERSONKILLED.... AT LEAST SIX OTHERSHAVE BEEN INJURED ..

WHILECREWS CONTINUE TO SIFT THROUGHTHE DEBRIS FOR ANYONE ELSE WHOMAY HAVE BEEN TRAPPED IN THISSHOCKING EXPLOSION INNORTHWEST BALTIMORE.

THE EXPLOSIONDESCRIBED BY ANTOINETTAPARRISH RATTLED HER ENTIRENORTHWEST BALTIMORENEIGHBOROHOOD ALONG LABYRINTHROAD AND BEYOND JUST BEFORE 10MONDAY MORNING.

BALTIMORE CITYFIRE OFFICIALS NOW TELLING USIT WAS A GAS EXPLOSION THATDESTROYED THREE ROWHOMESTRAPPING TRAPPING 6 PEOPLE INTHE DEBRISWOMAN DIED ON SCENE.

Right nowitthe explosion.

We arecontinuing to search for anyadditional occupants that mayor could possibly have been inthe homes.

Again, the causeremains under investigation.OUR CAMERAS WERE THERE AS ONEOF THE VICTIMS WAS ROLLED TOAN AMBULANCE SHORTLY AFTER HERRESCUE.

WEVICTIMS RESCUED WERE INCRITICAL CONDITION.

AT ONEPOINT DURING THE OPERATIONFIRE OFFICIALS SAY THEY WERECOMBING THE DEBRIS FOR ANOTHERTHE 6TH PERSON-BELIEVED TO BETRAPPED IN THE RUBBLE.

Ourfirefighters have basicallybeen using their hands andtools, searching for people atthis point in time.

Isaw the smoke and When I gotto the alley, three housesthey just collapsed into eachother.

People were screamingso I just jumped up, me and acouple of other guys fromaround the neighborhood and wejust started trying to pullall debris out.
