Arrests made as tensions flare during "Blue Lives Matter" protest

Two people were arrested on Friday (July 31st) in Los Angeles as dozens of Trump supporters rallied for a Blue Lives Matter protest backing the nation's police forces.

A counter-protest of a similar size of Black Lives Matter supporters also took place on the other side of Foothill Boulevard in Tujunga.

A male protester was seen being arrested for allegedly shining a green laser pointer into the eyes of the opposing group of demonstrators.

According to Captain Hurtado of the Foothill Division, the second person was arrested for "interfering with police."
