Missing swimmer fell in love with Eugene, aunt says

Abigael's aunt talked to KEZI 9 news about her missing niece.

Abigael's aunt says she moved to eugene two years ago after she visited a friend and fell in love with the community.

She says over those two years... abigael became an true oregonian.

And now for more than 7 days, lane county search and rescue teams have been scouring the area for the 22 year old.

She came to eugene to visit a friend and she could never leave.

We flew her back home several times and every time this place was just calling to her and she kept coming back."
