Numbers...the governor announced two new restrictions today.

Abc 36's monica harkins was there for that announcement.

Monica, people have been concerned about whether we're heading for another shut down...today, the governor is directly rolling back one of the rules that was part of his phased reopening.

### yes, kentucky now has a travel advisory and the governor says informal gatherings should be restricted to 10 people or less for the travel advisory it's based on the state's positivity rate.

Governor beshear says the advisories apply to states with a 15 percent positivity rate.

Right now that's states like texas and arizona.

And if you decided to go to those state's beshear asks you quarantine when you come back for 14 days.

As for his second new regulation...beshear asks informal social gatherings to go down to 10 people or less.

We had been operating at 50 people or less.

Beshear says the rule doesn't apply to organized activities like weddings.

These two new rules are bases on what contract tracers say are creating clusters of covid-19 outbreaks in kentucky.

These new recommendations all because of the surge in cases we saw sunday... not only topping 600 but almost to 1,000 cases.
