NMMC mask gives away masks in West Point for those in need.

You need to know... yes im here at the west point north mississippi medical wellness center where behind me you can see that many people are coming in and taking advantage of the mask giveaway right here for anyone in the west point community in need of a mask.

"the first two hours we gave out over 2000."

North mississippi medical center administrator barry keel says this is in response to the mayors mask order in west point... "we wanted to make sure that anyone who wanted to have a mask and needed to have a mask and maybe didn't have access to get one they could come here and receive one free of cost."

He says mask will continue to be free to the public at the wellness center in west point until they run out.

"it'll be available 10am 3pm monday through friday."

Before receiving every one who enters the building is screen and ask to sanitize their hands.
