A weather watcher captured the moment an impressive-looking storm formed and then passed through rural Illinois.
The clip, filmed at 4pm on July 15, shows dark storm clouds enveloping the sky and passing across fields behind Roger Stoller's home.
"I'm very thankful to God it was not severe and no one was injured.
And very thankful for the rain came with it.
The lightning was spectacular!" Tornado sirens were sounded in Gridley, McLean County Emergency Management Agency said, as reported by ABC.
The National Weather Service said there was a twister touchdown in Gridley at about 4:04 p.m, ABC also reported.
Trees and wires were down throughout McLean County, the station reported McLean County Emergency Management Agency as saying.
