Clashes broke out between Black Lives Matter protesters and pro-police protesters in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
Footage from July 12 shows multiple scuffles between opposing protesters.
The police are seen frog-marching multiple people away from the scene but many protesters demanded more from the police, which resulted in further violence.
The filmer explained: "A fight broke out as Black Lives Matter protesters followed Blue Lives Matter protesters away from the main group.
"A couple of pro-police demonstrators began punching and hit a female in the face.
"It took a while for the police to finally break up the crowd, eventually, the Black Lives Matter protesters surrounded the police and demanded they arrest the man who punched the girl."
