The dramatic video, shot in the city of Deyang in Sichuan Province, shows a huge mushroom cloud forming as the fire broke out at a fireworks factory.
In another clip, firefighters attempted to extinguish the fire on site and the factory was seen flattened.
Two people suffered serious injuries while another four had minor injuries and all were being treated in hospital.
The fire has been put out and the case is being investigated, reports said.
