Drones have been deployed in some parts of Rajasthan to spray pesticides to ward off locusts from the area.
Locals were also seen doing their bit by clanging utensils to scare the locusts away.
Locusts devour summer crops, leaving the farmers badly affected.
The local administration in Rajasthan's Didwana town said that this is their breeding season and hence the problem may increase further in the coming days.
