Skyuka Donations

Skyuka Hall gets donations for their specialty programs.

Children with learning differences.

They recently received a grant from v-c-r-a race for autism.

News 12's david moore was there for the check presentation, in tonight's edition of what's right with our schools.

Josh: it means so much to not only the steam lab but to the entire community, to see the support that vcra and not only the financial support but the encouragement that they give us on a week to week basis.

We are really proud to be able to support the stem lab here at skyuka.

Josh: the support of the man and women that are associated with this organization it's genuinely made the difference in the world here.

Jeff: the vintage car rally association is a group of people who enjoy old cars and doing rallies across the country.

But they also raise money for were the programs. a lot of it directed towards schools, and groups that help with autism.

And they make donations all across the country.

Hundreds of people all across the country that donated millions of dollars to vcra.

So i get to report back all of the successes that we see here at skyuka hall.

We are fortunate we have a child that goes to school here so we get to see this on a daily basis.

Josh i love the old song of louis armstrong singing, the kids will know so much more than i will ever know.

And because of this steam layup and these intelligent young women and young men that i get to hang out with every day, who knows what cheer we will find.

Who knows what solution we will unravel.

And again we are just grateful to geoff and vcra for standing up for us and ensuring that each student has an opportunity to be able to move forward in their educational journey.
