éé the support in jackson to remove the state flag with its confederate battle symbol has grown each day.éé religious groups, economic developers and the state's universities are lobbying their representatives to remove the flag.éé the head coaches and athletic directors from all of mississippi's colleges and universities were at the state capitol this morning, urging lawmakers to replace the flag.éé university presidents have also spent much of the past week in jackson.
