Now--there will be appointments in frankfort weekdays from 8 am to 4:30 p.m...starting next week..
In ashland and owensboro... june 29th and 30th... that's also by appointment from 9 a.m.
To 6 p.m.
And in somerset and hopkinsville july 7th and 8th.
"we're working day in and day out to rebuild an unemployment office that through years of neglect and then huge cuts in 2017 started this year with 12 individuals that could actually face to face communicate with the public.
With the number of claims that we have seen, there are some things that are very difficult to change."
Beshear says the system that is c1 3 outdated and meant to tell people no... he says something they can change is train more people to help... more information about signing up for the appointments..will be announced today.
