Nettleton school district has started making plans for the upcoming school year.
I spoke with superintendent tim dickerson about what classrooms could look like in the fall.
Tim dickerson- superintendent nettleton school district "we are trying to look at every scenario that can possible come up with and we might face and probably will face in the fall."
Nettleton school district does not have a definite plan in place yet.
Administrators have sent out surveys to the parents asking for their opinion.
"just comfort questions, how comfortable are you coming back to school, or allowing your student to come back to school."
Parents have had mixed feelings..
Some are nervous to send their kids back to a traditional classroom setting, others are ready to get their kids back in school.
Dickerson is concerned about the spread of the coronavirus once students do return to the classroom.
"those students could pick it up from someone here and transfer it home" classroom settings will be different as well..
Dickerson said there will be less small group assignments and less one on one interaction between teacher and student.
"we are planning on our school calander to stay the same.
I asked dickerson if there has been any plans made for sports..
He said ideally sporting events could happen as normal but no plans have been made.
