Its been more than 90 days since the first cases of coronavirus were recorded in north alabama.

As the state continues to adjust to the safer at home order and socials distancing guidelines we yet again find ourselves in uncharted territory as the number of reported cases rises across the state.

Joining us via zoom this morning is athens city mayor ronnie marks.

Mr. mayor good morning!

Wait for response mr. mayor, we know you're a member of the governor's coronavirus task force, when you see the numbers increase like this, do you or does the task force as a whole have concerns that maybe we reopened the state too soon?

-we understand you're applying or working to get reimbursed from the state for the city's response to coronaviurs for items like plexi-glass and ppe, how does that work?

Is this something every city/town can do?

-in addition to coronavirus, we're seeing protests.

Your city held at least one peaceful rally.

What do you credit that success with?
