'Don’t give up hope' message from children around the world in lockdown

Children from 15 countries around the world have written poems to highlight the hardships children and families face during lockdown because of Coronavirus.

Save the Children are releasing a series of poems to mark three months on since the Coronavirus Pandemic was announced.

This inspirational poem is from 11-year-old Lincoln in Sheffield, who sends a message of hope that things will get back to normal soon.

He describes missing his friends, being upset because he can't hug people and making sure that he clapped for carers every Thursday to support his mum's friends who are nurses.
