Thousandss of demonstrators gather below the Cecil Rhodes statue in Oxford calling for the effigy to be removed.
The Rhodes Must Fall campaign together with the Black Lives Matter movement have called for the demonstration outside Oriel College.
The protests comes in the wake of the toppling of the Edward Colston statue in Bristol last Sunday.
