BBB: Stimulus money coming in form of prepaid debit cards for some

Something new that danielle kane from the bbb and today we are talking about eip odebit cards and what exactly is that danielle; eip card is your economic impact payment card and this is the new way taht the government is sending you your stimulus money and before it was either a check of direct deposit but this was something new that the tresaury announced nd a lot of people have questions because they thought these cards were fake what are things people should look out for right on the envelope and the card will show this is the right card, it will come in a plain envelope from with teh return address that says money network card money services and when you open it the visa name will be on the front and the back will have the bank that the government is using and that is meta bank and when it comes to the scamming part, is it people calling you, what are the scams the biggest risk is that one people are getting fake cards and letters and that people need to do another steop or call this number and there is a chance that fake cards are being sent but i have not heard any reports on that but the biggest thing is that scammers will call you in some way and say that they need more information in order to get their card and if you haven't recieved your card you may be willing to give out that personal information anything else the consumer protection agency has information on this and not only bbb but the ftc also has
