Today she crossed the iowa state line just for groceries.

Ruby's pantry has given her hope for better days.

The effort is for anyone looking to extend their monthly grocery budget.

For twenty dollars ?

"* folks receie this abundance of groceries.

Rarick filled up her car with multple bundles... nats owing me inside car: my car is so overloaded with stuff.

Now that she has a little extra cash she's making sure to pick up food for her neighborhood.

She gets emotional when she talks about what ruby's pantry means to her.

"don't make me cry.

Because i know what it feels like to have nothing and have empty cupboards and that's a scary thing to see my friends that way and to see others that way so i'm taking it to go share so they don't have to feel that scariness of not having because they haven't worked or their check didn't come.

Look live: the next ruby's pantry is set for june 30th here at albert lea assembly of god.
