The 2020 graduating class ofdirondack ctral school think t seniors the seniorthere deserve aeal graduation.

Not a virtual one.

This afternoon around 200 people, including 88 graduating seniors...some in their caps and gowns... marched from the elementary school to the high school in support of the 2020 graduating class.

They feel it's possible to hold a normal graduation and still practice social distancing.

The marchers are hoping their message is heard by school and oneida county officials.

"the governor is allowing these people to have big events like protests and memorials with hundreds and thousands of people.

We only have 88 students so we could definitely social distance and the kids could have a ceremony with their family."

The marchers were escorted by members of the boonville police and fire departments.

Adirondack's virtual graduation is scheduled for june 27th.
