Deputies still on the scene of a deadly shooting in morgan county.

We know 7 people were shot and killed on talucah road in the small community of valhermoso springs.

Thats right near lacey's spring.

Here are the latest developments since our morning show.

We are learning more about the victims of the shooting.

We now know 4 men and 3 women were shot and killed.

We also learned a dog was shot and killed during the incident.

Right now, deputies are following multiple leads regarding suspects.

When the morgan county sheriffs deputies arrived ... they described the scene as chaotic .

It is a horrific scene and to be able to process it will take some time.

Right now - sheriff spokesman mike swafford says he believes there is not a threat to the general public at this time.

Right now we do not know the identities of the victims. we have team coverage for you this morning.

She has been out there on the scene all morning.

Rodneya ... you are now closer to the house where the bodies were discovered.

What can you tell us?

I've been here on talacuh road since just before two this morning.

This scene is still very active with many moving parts.

In the last hour i talked to the family of one of the victims. they didn't want to go on camera but they tell me they are hurt.

Here's what we know so far: the morgan county sheriffs office says a neighbor called 911 just before 11-30 to report gunshots.

When the sheriffs office got here they say part of the home was on fire they were able to put it out before the fire department arrived.

When they went inside they found four men, three women, and a dog dead from gunshot wounds.

Right now they are still working to determine a motive.

They also have not released the names of the victims. we're told there is no threat to the public and the sheriffs office believes this is an isolated incident.
