Local vendor prepares "Great Plates Delivered" meals

As part of the state's Covid-19 response, meals are being prepared and delivered to those needing assistance

Delivery service is helping those at high-risk for covid-19 stay home and eat healthy.

"my oven's meals" is handing out about 14-hundred meals a week.

It's all funded through california's 'great plates delivered' program.

The chico company's regular business is making pre- packaged meals for customers.

Owner 'mary chin' and her three employees have been working hard to fill orders for the 76 new customers added by the program.
