Security cam captures moment wild leopard attacks man in southern India

Two Indian men had an incredibly close shave with a wild leopard which wandered into the city of Hyderabad on Thursday (May 14th).

A security camera captured the moment the men spotted the big cat on the other side of a fence and ran for their lives.

One man climbs into the cab of a parked truck, while the other sprints to a building on the other side of the road and appears to try to open the door.

Realising the door is locked, he now tears back across the road to get into the truck but at this moment the leopard springs over the fence and grabs his leg.

The man somehow manages to haul himself from the clutches of the feline and get into the truck.

A pack of dogs then surrounds the leopard and there is a brief standoff before the leopard wanders off.

The big cat was sighted near the Himayat Sagar forest area and entered the city from there, according to a police spokesperson
