Salons and barbershops gear up to reopen

After clients come in.

"many salons" and "barber shops" are gearing-up "for re-opening on monday".

But expect to see "some changes" during your next visit.

News 10's "richard solomon" stopped by "a local salon".

He shares more..

"on how they're preparing".

////// the next time you'll come to get a haircut the routine will be a little different.

You'll have to wear one of these.

Here at hair express they're making sure you stay healthy and get that much needed cut.

As soon as you walk in..you'll see some of the immediate changes.

Customers and stylists will wear face masks.

I spoke with lorrie trench the owner of hair express.

She says each styling station is 6 feet apart...enforcing social distancing.

Trench says they are a bigger salon which will allow them to have more people in at once.

Only 7 stylists and 7 customers in the building at a time.

She says just because they're re-open..doesn't mean everything will be back to normal.

"there's no timeline, this could be a very long time and we just want to keep everybody healthy and safe.

We love what we do so we're very excited to see everyone and be back in the mix of everything" trench says they already have nearly 100 appoinments for monday and tuesday.

Coming up at 6, we'll hear more of how big this is for the employees as well.
