It may look a little different the next time you enter Scars and Stories tattoo shop.

News 10 spoke with the owner to find out what they're doing to keep clients and staff safe when they re-open next week.

Using single-use condiments and menus.

Non-essential businesses are preparing to re-open..

Meanwhile... we're learning what they're doing to make it happen.

News 10's jordan kudisch joins us live this morning from our newsroom.

She spoke with "scars" and "stories," a local tattoo shop.

She has more on what re-opening will look like for clients.

Gloves..

Face masks..

And sanitizing..

Those are just a few of the things this shop is doing to make sure they're keeping covid at bay.

Owner, branden martin says the shop is following state regulations.

But he says while re-opening is exciting..

It also has it's challenges.

Many of the artists are working around the clock to get in clients.

He says they're trying to fit in people who have had appointments for months..

Plus those for months..

Plus those who are just now scheduling.

To make this process run smoothly..

He just wants clients to realize it's going to be a slow process..

And he asks for an understanding during this time.

"this goes for all the artists in town, just be patient with us.

We are not allowed to take in walk in traffic or walk ins for setting up appointments so this is all new for everybody."

If you're planning on getting a tattoo..

You can call the shop or visit their website..
