Um, however oil, and that's the main target of this rewind dec is the largest industry in america.

Um, if it doesn't get help, um, and if it's limited and getting that help.

Wouldn't that cost millions of jobs as well?

Are you worried about creating a possible ripple effect?

Now we can create a lot more jobs for the amount of energy produced by focusing on renewable energy and in oregon.

Think about the challenges we have.

We have the red zone of where the pine beetles are surviving in warmer winters.

We have the forest fire season that is affecting.

Commerce all across the state.

Uh, we have, uh, the, uh, increased, uh, uh, acidity and warmth of the pacific ocean affecting our, our fisheries were being affected with our forests, with our farming, with our fishing.

And so we should use this occasion.

To move from a low employment economy, which is for the amount of energy produced, which is fossils to a high employment energy economy that is also going to take on climate chaos.

Uh, so this is an important moment to put our resources to the economy, the future with more good paying jobs and a much better environment to support our rural capacity in farming, fishing, and forestry.

Is now the best time to do that though.

If we're in a, uh, economic, i'll use the word crisis.

Uh, where we're seeing such drastic is, is now the time to try to implement that or should we look for a recovery?

Now is the perfect time to do it because we are putting resources into the economy.

Let's put them in where they create more jobs, not less jobs, less pollution, not
