Why not allow the governor to make that call?the governor's argument and he's not the only one, former governor haley barbour made it as well recently is that following natural disasters, the governor is the one who has made the decision on how such federal funds should be spent.

Why is this different?is this going to cause a problem down the road between the governor and the legislature?word came late this afternoon lawmakers will return thursday to take up a plan to help small businesses retailers, barbers, hair stylists.

High pressure will dominate our weather forecast for a few days and that will clear our skies out for a few days.

We will see somewhat cooler temperatures in our area due to this high pressure bringing into our area some canadian air.

We will see some more low pressure and associated fronts move into our area as we go into later portions of our thursday night and into our friday.

This will bring to our area some more chances for some showers and thunderstorms. a few could be a little on the heavy side at times.

More canadian high pressure will move back into our area on our friday evening and linger into our weekend and early portions of next week.

This high pressure will dry out our area once again and we will see more of the unseasonably cool air move into our area.

We might even see a little frost in some of the normally colder spots in our area as some areas will see some middle to upper 30s for lows.
