DCP Amit Sharma resumes duty after recovering from injury during Delhi violence

Shahdara DCP Amit Sharma, who was injured during clashes between two groups over CAA in Delhi's Gokulpuri on February 24, resumed his duty and reached office on May 04 amid COVID-19 lockdown.

He was greeted by fellow police personnel with claps.

"I want to thank my family and colleagues for their support.

I am glad that I have got the opportunity to serve people," said DCP Sharma.

DCP Sharma underwent surgery after suffering serious injuries on February 24 during Citizenship (Amendment) Act violence.
