County Schools receive nearly $1 million donation

Plans are now changing for a massive development project in south huntsville because of the coronavirus.

The hays farm village center is being built on memorial parkway near weatherly road.

Rodneya -- what changes are being made to adapt to our new normal?

While construction plans are still on track -- the way business will be done here is changing to allow for curbside delivery and social distancing.

The hays farm village center is located at the old haysland shopping center that has been vacant for years.

Retail and office space, and apartments are set to bring the area back to life.

But the space will now cater to businesses who can adapt to social distancing.

It might not be as compact as they would have been otherwise but we have time now to put that into the design" construction has already started and the project is still expected to be completed in the fall 20-21 the land for the development was provided by the hays family and the project is being managed by their development group.
