UPD questioning person of interest

Utica police are questioning a person of interest in an incident Monday where a man shot at a UPD officer.

A police officer yesterday.

Police told us this monring they are questioning a person of interest.

Around six last night utica police say an officer patrolling the area of whitesboro street and brayton park place when he was told there was a man walking down the street... possibly armed with a hand gun.

As the officer approached the man, the suspect began shooting at the officer.

Again that person of interest is now being questioned.
