Tennessee, Georgia and Chattanooga leaders all announce different reopening policies this afternoon.

Some Georgia businesses could return by this weekend.

Today, governor bill lee announced the order for tennesseans to remain at home will expire april 30th.

Governor lee said most businesses in 89 counties will be allowed to re-open on may 1st.

The governor says the economic recovery group is working with industry leaders so that some businesses can open as soon as monday, april 27th.

He says those businesses will open according to specific guidance that they will provide in accordance with state and national experts in both medicine and business.

However, chattanooga will not return to business on may first with the rest of the state.

Mayer andy berke announced on his facebook live update this evening that the city is not ready to give service oriented businesses the green light just yet.

The mayor says the largest cities in the state are exempt from governor lee's announcement today.

"the governor's order today does not apply to hamilton county, in fact what he has consistently said is that he knows that these big four cities need to figure out what's right for them."

The economic restart taskforce is discussing the circumstances that would let businesses like hair salons open again.

In georgia, governor brian kemp says restaurants, gyms, and hair salons may begin reopening statewide friday.

That also includes nail care businesses.

Theaters, and restaurant dine in services will be able to re- open on monday.
