This is likely a tough time for those with graduating seniors at home, with school called off and commencement ceremonies up in the air.

But with one local small business' help they just might be able to get some of the recognition they've worked so hard for this year.

<<ron johnson reporting with schools across the area closed now till the end of the year, graduation ceremonies for high schools seniors will look a lot different if they happen at all.

They've kinda got he shot end of the stick this year.

Commencement ceremonies give the chance for students to showcase their hard work letting the world know they've earned the chance to move up in life, now that they're up in the air, one local small business is make sure seniors are getting we thought it would be a great way to graduate and let them know that people do care.

The mark-it, known for labeling t-shirts and other items is now making yard signs for the class of 2020.

Owner korey massey said it was an idea given to her in part by he customer base.

We actually had someone reach out to us asking if it was something that we were doing and we didn't really think anything of it until this person showed some interest and its like hey i betcha others would like that too!

No one around here was doing anything like this and we thought this would opportunity for our city.massey posted the idea to social media where she says it gained a lot of support.

We have been getting a lot o f love on our social media and it seems as if we're going to get a nice amount of orders and we're really excited about it.

Massey says she's proud to bring the idea to our area so that this year's senior class gets at least some of the recognition they deserve.

It just lets people know in your neighborhood that hey you have a graduate let's give them some love too.>> massey says she plans to have designs for the signs done by next week, that's also when she expects to start taking orders.
