Governor orders Vigo County flags to half-staff to honor Terre Haute firefighter who lost his life t

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has directed flags be flown at half-staff in Vigo County to honor a Terre Haute firefighter who recently passed away.

Until the procession begins.

In the meantime, indiana governor eric holcomb is asking all businesses and residents in vigo county to fly their flags at half staff.

It's in honor of firefighter john schoffstall.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset tomorrow...saturday, april 18th.

The governor says it's a small way to say "thank you" fo his service.
