US Redditor recreates sunset in bedroom to cure coronavirus lockdown boredom

This video has gone viral online showing how one US Redditor has managed to recreate the sunset from the comfort of their own home using the optical phenomenon "camera obscura".

Footage captured on April 15 shows how over the course of a timelapse, a sunrise is projected onto the bedroom walls.

They explained to Newsflare: "This is how I wasted my time during COVID-19 lockdown.

"Anyone can do it and it is very fun to do with kids and family members.

"It's a great science experiment and also an awesome art setup.

"This has gone viral and is now being done by lots of people stuck at home with WAY to much time on their hands.

"The coolest part is if it's in your bedroom... when you wake up in the morning...it's there.

"You walk in to get something from your room... it's there.

"You can also paint the outline of any of the builds or trees and make this a permanent thing."
