US Coronavirus Monitoring Falls Short Due to Lack of Testing According to public health officials and political leaders, the current state of testing will not allow Americans to safely return to work any time soon.

Andrew Cuomo, via briefing Faulty tests, supply shortages and limited access to screenings have all contributed to the country’s inability to properly track the path of the virus.

Medical providers have also said that the biggest challenge is not attaining the tests but the supplies to process them.

Public health officials say they are now looking to antibody testing as a means to further flatten the curve.
