Conducting much of response virtually this time around.

>>> as folks begin to assess what they are missing following those devastating storms, we might have something that you're looked for.

Brooke schwieters was in colleton county.

She covered the storms earlier this week and stumbled on photos and has more on efforts to reunite them with their owner.

>> brooke: yeah, that's exactly right.

You know, kind of looking at your own stuff.

Who doesn't value photos.

That's exactly what we found odds the lowcountry regional airport and led us to dozens scattered throughout the parking lot and debris and obviously very wet from all of that rain.

Taken them into my home and off of it and now taking to the internet to find where they belong.

>> waking up it the yet another new normal.

Violent storms tearing apart homes, knocking out power, even airplanes no match for the wind.

Resilient neighbors began rebuilding but what about the things that simply can't be replaced.

Outside the lowcountry regional airport one family's memories scattered in the yard.

My photographer and i picked up the photos one-by-one, brought them home to dry and take a look.

They depict everything from family photos, portraits, weddings and holidays one dating back to 1941.

Check out this one.

It looks like a flight school on the back a handwritten list of names.

Each photo history surviving a historic storm ready to return home.

>>> like i mentioned in the story one of those photos obviously trying to be careful with them because they did sustain water damage and covered in debris.

Also reached out to the colleton county preservation and historical society and closed right now due to the storm and shared the post on the facebook page.

We will hopefully help us kind of move forward in tracking down the family or families who own these photos.

If you have any information after seeing all these photos, please reach out to us either via facebook.
