Covid-19: How this made-in-India robot may help treat patients, protect doctors

Students in Chhattisgarh's Mahasamund have built a robot which they believe can protect healthcare workers from getting infected while treating Covid-19 patients.

They say that the robot can be connected to the internet and then operated remotely, even from other cities.

This can help doctors and nurses maintain distance from patients carrying the Coronavirus.

They are seeking funding from state as well as central government to ramp up their production.

India has had multiple cases of healthcare workers contracting the disease.
