As local restaurants get hit by the quarantine, a pizzeria in Arizona just got very lucky.
Skyler Reeves, the owner of Rosa’s Pizzeria, claims he was approached by a woman on March 24 who handed him an envelope with his name on it.
Before he could get her name or any more information, the woman quickly walked away.
Inside the envelope was $2,000 cash and a note that said, “Hi there, As a neighbor and lover of Rosa’s, please accept the enclosed and use it as you see fit for your staff".
“The hairs on my arm literally stood up,” Reeves told Fox News.
“I was just so touched with all the craziness going on".
Recently, Reeves had to consolidate his three restaurants, put a pause on his catering company and stop construction on his newest restaurant, which was set to open in April.
Reeves also had to lay off nearly half of his staff, many of whom he considered friends.
But with this anonymous donation, Reeves has asked employees to provide the bills that stress them out the most and he will use the $2,000 — along with some of his personal money — to pay them off.
“I’ll remember this moment forever,” he said
