Instagram Debuts New Co-Watching Feature On Tuesday, Instagram highlighted ways that it's keeping users informed and safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company also introduced Co-Watching.

Co-Watching allows friends to look at posts together via video chat while social distancing.

In order to use the new feature, users will need to start a video chat.

Saved, liked and suggested media can then be shared with friends by tapping the photo icon in the bottom left corner of the chat.

New stickers, meant to inform and provide help to charities, have also been added.

For instance, the "Stay Home" sticker can be used to let others know you're practicing social distancing.

In addition to adding new policies to help prevent the spread of misinformation, Instagram will also now direct its users to the World Health Organization and other health institutes to stay informed.
