China's President Says Country Must Keep Economic And Social Order

President Xi Jinping said China must do everything they can to maintain economic and social control.

He said they must avoid causing panic over the coronavirus epidemic, leading to secondary “disasters.” According to Reuters, Jinping thinks efforts to contain the virus have gone too far.

The virus has killed more than 1,500 people and infected over 66,000.

He said they need to increase financial support, such as preferential policies for loan interest rates and terms.
