Britons missing or injured after volcano erupts in New Zealand

The New Zealand prime minister said British citizens were among those “missing or injured” in the volcanic eruption on Monday.

Jacinda Ardern acknowledged the "unfathomable" grief of the victims' family and friends and said that she stood in solidarity with them.

“Your loved ones stood alongside Kiwis who are hosting you here and we grieve with you and we grieve with them," she said.
