Bolivia's President Resigns After Disputed Election

Bolivian President Evo Morales said he’s resigning to ease the violence in his country.

According to Reuters, this comes after a disputed election in October.

Yet further unrest may come after he said he was the victim of a “coup” and faces arrest.

Morales later stated on Twitter the police had an “illegal” warrant for his arrest.

He also said “violent groups” attacked his home.
