Keystone Pipeline Leaks Over 300,000 Gallons of Oil .

A portion of the Keystone Pipeline in Edinburg, North Dakota, had to be shut down on Oct.

29, after a crude oil leak was detected.

According to a statement released by the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality, 9,120 barrels, or about 383,000 gallons of oil, were spilled.

TC Energy reports that there have been โ€œno reported injuries or impacted wildlife,โ€ and that an internal investigation to determine the spillโ€™s cause is currently taking place.

Catherine Collentine of the Sierra Club shared similar sentiments, saying โ€œTC Energy has made [their] case for [them].โ€.
