As Trade War Drags On, Port of Los Angeles Sees Slump In Imports

The Port of Los Angeles is the busiest for ocean trade with China.

According to Reuters, it processed fewer containers of imported goods in September.

The prolonged U.S.-China trade war has whipsawed global supply chains.

In September, imports fell 2.9% to 402,320 TEUs, or 20-foot equivalent units.

It's the first decline at the Port of Los Angeles since February.
